It was 2008 when H&M launched it’s first Fashion Against Aids collection. The new items aimed towards raising awareness of HIV/AIDS among youth will be available for purchase in selected stores starting today, April 26th. 25% of the purchase price is donated HIV/AIDS prevention.

In Romania you can shop the collection in Brasov, Constanta and Bucharest (Cotroceni and Unirea). Go for it!

Here’s a lil preview from a photoshoot I did last week for Wish Studio. Changed two outfits and hairstyles and you’ll see the results in the upcoming weeks… I think, haven’t seen the photos yet.

One more picture for your entertainment. I don’t know if you’ve seen them, but one of my favorite cartoons ever were The Kids from Room 402, loved them! If you remember, in one episode Nancy wants a haircut made by Simon from London and IMO it looks something like this…

Loved it though, it was really interesting having (kinky) curly hair, kept it like this for two days. I’ll post the official photos… well, when I’ll have them, hopefully soon!

Last week I was in Bucharest for the launch of the Marni at H&M collection. The event took place at Baneasa Shopping City, where the store, to my surprise was filled (I really mean it) with people. See, I thought the event held for the launch of the Versace for H&M collection was crowded, guess I was wrong. My plan was to buy the pieces I wanted and get a better look at the gorgeous garments from the women’s collection. Unfortunately that did not happen.

I don’t know why but I thought that this collection, due to the fact that it was released so close to David Bechkam’s line and Donatella’s very best of Versace (and let’s face it, a lot less advertising) will not achive the success H&M has with this kind of collaborations (at least in Romania). Obviously I was wrong since an hour after the stores opened there were pieces completely sold out.

Ahh, one of my favorite pieces from this collection, the t-shirt photographed below. I really wanted to get it, had it in my hand with the rest of my purcheses, but because of the queue formed outside the fitting room (scroll to the next picture!!) I put it back on the rack and decided to come the next morning and buy it. Mistake!! obviously it was sold out. Disappointment!

The queue!! I sat in line for 15 mins, if I’m not wrong, but decided it’s not worth it…
