And Just Like That
Time goes by so slowly… The most vicious thing ever told, I’m telling you.
Days turn into weeks, the weeks turn into months and the moths into years and you’re left wondering where the hell did time go?! At least that’s how I feel these days. Just a month and a half separates me from the end of this semester (the last one) and I’ll be a college graduate. I know it’s strange but sometimes it really feels like high school ended just a few months ago, not years…
Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end… What I’m really looking forward to, is discovering what mine is, cuz right now I have no idea. What I know for sure is that starting this Saturday a month of hell awaits me, there are thousand of pages waiting to be read and learned, many exams I’ll have to pass and projects to finish on time.
Fortunately I still have two more days just to sit back and enjoy before all the craziness begins. Below are posted some photos from my let’s call it Graduation Party, had such an amazing time!

Q&A with Kaan Tilki
You’ve seen him in the pages of Fashionisto, Grit, Flamboyant, Umno International (and I’ll stop, because the list of magazines he’s been in can go on and on), countless runway shows and in amazing campaigns for TopMan, Uniqlo and twenty(2)too.
Dear readers, this is IBLs first Q&A with Kaan Tilki from Allure Management. Enjoy!
How were you discovered?
Kaan Tilki: I was discoverd by Tibi Clenci when Silviu Tolu first introduced me to him. He was the first person that believed in me and he offered me a contract right from the first day we meet.
Best thing that comes with modeling?
Kaan Tilki: Meeting new people, travelling, taste new cultures and have a lot of fun.
Dislikes?
Kaan Tilki: Dislikes about modeling… Occasionally people are treating you like a puppet.
Runway or editorial… what do you prefer?
Kaan Tilki: Depends on the client and the people that are working around you, with you. I would say runway, I get OVEREXCITED when I’m doing “The Walk” ahahaha…
Do you remember your first show?
Kaan Tilki: Yes, I do remember the show. I could never forget my first runway show. It was in Milan, June 2010, for Giulliano Fujiwara‘s SS collection.
Most memorable shoot?
Kaan Tilki: The most memorable shoot for me was in London, May 2010, when I shot TopMan with Angelo Pennetta (photographer) and Alister Mackie, the stylist. The shoot took place in an abandoned orphanage. We all had like a strange feeling about that during the shoot but besides that we had a lot of fun, it was definitely the most memorable shoot since.
3 things you cannot live without?
Kaan Tilki: I can’t live without my friends and family, my mom’s food and art.

After Hours… Avanpremiere Gala
Now that you’ve seen photos with my favorite collections, it’s time for some backstage access.
No doubt here… the first thing that caught my eye while entering the backstage area, was a small group of models. Some of them were wearing the most unusual head pieces, stag horns. Just to put it out there, the make-up and styling for the FW 2011 collection of Rue des Trucs looked absolutely amazing. The current collection marked the official debut of Alina Buzila and Simona Semen. Few photos below.
